Everybody knows Australia and New Zealand have the most liveable cities in the world. But what about Italy? I bet sometimes you said “Oh one day I will live in Italy” and maybe “But I don’t know where”. Whether you live in a big city in the US or in Europe, you have to know that pizza and pasta are not the reasons you need to find the best Italian city to live in.
According to “Il Sole 24 Ore”, on the basis of 36 parameters clustered in 6 macro areas such as standard of living, bussiness and jobs, environment and health, population, law and order and free time, the perfect city to live in is Trento (Trentino Alto Adige), followed by Bolzano and Bologna. Then we have Belluno, Siena, Ravenna, Florence, Macerata, Aosta and Milan – these are located in central-northern Italy and most of them are mid-size cities. Rome lands at the twentieth place. At the bottom of the list, is Naples (#107). The report also noted the least liveable cities, all situated in southern Italy.
