[POST PRESTO DISPONIBILE IN ITALIANO]
I’ve always said Instagram is the best social platform we have. It changed the way we take photos and forced us to fit what we see into a square, but it also gave us the chance to find inspiration, meet amazing. creative people and travelers.
Here are some of my favorite instagramers (note: not a chart) who inspire thousands of people everyday with their adventures. Once you’re done reading this post, I’m sure the travel bug is going to bite you. And a bad case of wanderlust will follow.
1. LAUREN BATH @laurenpbath
She is one of the first instagramers I’ve ever followed since I joined Instagram. Australian, adventurer, photographer and perpetually in motion, Lauren collaborates with many tourism boards around the world and always takes the time to write meaningful and instructive captions about the places she visits. A must-follow if you love nature, bright colors (and Australia).
2. FUDO JAHIC @fudojahic
He describes himself as an “outdoor enthusiast” and I can’t find a better definition to introduce his feed. A flood of mountains, lakes, canyons and roads of Idaho will draw the attention of your thumb and the double tap will be inevitable. Winter, Summer, Fall, Spring – it doesn’t matter, Fudo’s snaps reflect the season and his feed goes from white to blue, to orange.
3. ALEX MCINTOSH @alex.mcintosh
I suddenly want to visit Oregon because Alex’s photos are full of emotions and vivid landscapes. This kid is one true explorer. He loves waterfalls and forests. And you’ll love them too.
4. GLORIA ATANMO @glographics
Oh well. She TRIES to write a serious caption. I swear. But she can’t. She starts with some cool informations but she ends up with awkward stories about her new life in Spain (and I love that).
Gloria is an American expat, a foodie, a travel blogger (theblogabroad.com) and also a basketball player. Try not to laugh when you watch her snapchats (@gl0 – with a zero).
5. ROBERT JAHNS @nois7
What? You don’t know him? It’s nois7 ladies and gents. He’s one of the most talented photo-manipulator-photoshopper-whatever I’ve ever seen on the internet. Elephants hitched by thousands of balloons, whales in Venice, rollercoasters in the sky and skateboarders flying over Manhattan. He worked with brands like Nike, HP, Microsoft, Philips and P & G.
6. PIER GIULIO CAIVANO @piergiuliocaivano
Pier Giulio is an architecture student and loves to capture tiny people surrounded by wide landscapes and walls. Check out his unique and minimalist photos, if you love pastel colors, simmetry and calm. Morocco, California and Latin America never looked so neat.
7. CALLUM SNAPE @calsnape
Callum is a freelance photographer from Banff, Alberta (Canada), a small town near Calgary, part of the Banff National Park. He’s lucky enough to live in such a beautiful place and take photos of wonders like the Moraine Lake. Follow Cal on Snapchat for more live action and videos @ calsnape.
8. JOHANNES BECKER @hannes_becker
Hit the follow button to get a glimpse of Europe’s most fascinating places: Germany, Switzerland, France and Austria. My favorite shots? The ones he took in Finland.
9. NUNZIA CILLO @nunziacillo
Nunzia is an Italian girl who lives in Valencia. She never fails to spread the love she has for people, colors and blue (yes, you’ll see a lot of blue-toned photos). As a lifestyle blogger, Nunzia sometimes posts lipsticks and flower crowns, so if you’re a man you might think “Oh no I don’t like flower crowns” and I get it. But don’t worry: plenty of travel photos will pop up on your screen and you’ll start to love flowers too.
10. WILLIAM PATINO @william_patino
As he writes on his website he started “to pursue photography as a career” after working as tradesman for 8 years. What happens next is all about cliffs, breathtaking sunsets and time-lapses of the best of Australia. William’s quick videos of Wollongong and aerial views of the Great Barrier Reef will leave you speechless.
11. SEATTLE DREDGE @seattlestravels
Yes, her name is Seattle. This Canadian travel blogger likes to mess around with her dark hair and chill by the lake and like the majority of travel bloggers her feed is not only landscapes and cities, but also food and photos of herself. You can read Seattle’s stories on her “blog about a girl, not the city”, here.
12. THEO GOSSELIN @theogosselin
Ok here we got a serious case of hipsterism (can I say that?). Have you ever seen Into The Wild? Yeah, his account has so much in common with Chris McCandless. His photos have vintage vibes and his long beard and naked shots make me want to give him the Hipster Of The Year Award. Theo is French but he’s always on the road.
13. ALICIA JANE TIMERMANIS @alicia_janee
She has just been suggested by Instagram and I’m not surprised at all. Alicia is another Australian instagramer and lives underwater… I’m kidding (about the underwater part), but she calls the ocean her home. Magical editing style (get Mexture here) and inspiring quotes – these are her seacrets (see what I did here? Man, I’m not even a native speaker and look at this!).
